WW - Patek Philippe, Genève, circa 1940s, manual wind, 34mm x 43mm to lug tips, 18mm lug width, original 18K rose gold snap back case with highly unusual hidden lugs, brown crocodile strap with period 18K Patek signed buckle, original champagne dial with a later added Metro Goldwyn Mayer Pictures logo at 12, 18J, case s#639516, movement s#928077, triple signed. A highly interesting logo is on the dial which is likely original to the watch. Gross weight of assembled watch without strap 23.3 dwt (36.1 g).
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent-plus cosmetic mvt condition overall, very light oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches to plates; excellent-plus dial with light surface spotting, tail of the X in IX is bent; excellent rose hands; polished case shows light wear, engraved presentation removed from case back, several light dings on case back; replacement crown shows little wear; good plastic crystal.
